This series is comprised of images that I had at first regarded as discards in my quest as a street photographer to create a neighborhood portrait. I began to realize that the portrait of the neighborhood that I was creating was actually a chronicle of my intrusion as a stranger with a camera, met by an alternation of curiosity, distrust, acceptance, casual observation and fear.
